History

Founding

STIV 88 started operating in 1992 as a sole trader. In 1994 the company was re-registered as a limited liability company and expanded both its team and its scope of work.

Growth

Over the years the company has delivered projects in engineering geology, hydrogeology, ecology and geotechnical engineering across the whole country. We work successfully with local and foreign investors from Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Japan, South Africa, Spain, the UK and the USA.

Team and expertise

Our leading experts are geologists and engineers with broad design skill, university lecturers and science specialists. We set up project teams according to the complex geological and tectonic structure of our territory, taking into account the extensive spectrum of developed and potentially hazardous processes such as earthquakes, landslides, rock-falls, weathering, erosion, sea-erosion, karst, land subsidence and soft soils.

Today

We always combine the investor's interest with the requirements of the standards and norms in the country and our professional responsibility. The company works with licensed software, accredited laboratories and designers who are members of the Chamber of Engineers in the Investment Design (CEID). We hold a certificate from the Bulgarian Association of Underground Water (BAUW).
